DNA

When I was in high school, I was really willing to know about DNA's structure. I asked my biology teacher whether we will study or not. When he said that we are going to study,I got so happy. In reality I hated Biology lessons, but DNA was different rather than Biology for me. I want to tell some information about DNA.Everybody's DNA is different from each others.
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)is a nucleic acid that contains the genetic information which has role in development and functioning of all living organisms. The main role of DNA molecules is the long-term storage of information.

Salt

Sodium is one of the essential electrolytes in the body. All four cationic electrolytes (sodium, potasiium, magnesium, and calcium) are available in unrefined salt, as are other vital minerals needed for optimal bodily function. Too much or too little salt in the diet can lead to muscle cramps, dizziness, or even an electrolyte disturbance, which can cause dangerous, even fatal, neurological problems. Sea salt is often sold for use as a condiment. Because it contains trace amounts of other minerals which are removed in the refining process, it may have health advantages over normal table salt. Certain sea salts are also used in the production of bath salts and cosmetic products.
Spare salt consumption has been linked to:
-Asthma
-Heartburn
-Reduces bone density
-Stomach Cancer
-Hypertension
-Death(Ingestion of large amounts of salt in a short time (about 1 g per kg of body weight) can be incurable.)

End of 1st Term

Today is the last day of our first term. We had so many good times with my classmates. Our lessons were so much fun. At the beginning I was thinking that I will not be able to get accustomed to lessons, university life and etc. but thanks to my classmates and teachers I didn't have so much difficulties. SOme of our inspectors will not be teaching us next semester, I am so sad because of this. For example; our EDS 200 course teacher, he is going to leave METU. Some of my classmates were nearly cry because of this. He was so nice teacher we really loved him,but of course there were some exceptions. Anyway our 1st term passed normal not so good not so bad.
I'm going to miss this term so much. Thanks for everybody, whom I spent time with.
